Police Detective Accused of McDonalds Gun Rage

A police detective of DeKalb County, Georgia has been detained for approaching a McDonald’s drive-through customer with his weapon drawn. Security footage shows the accused detective leaning his upper body into a young man’s truck and forcefully pointing his weapon at the alleged victim.

The incident occurred at 10:30 PM April 9th and the officer was identified as 48-year-old Scott Biumi. Sheriff’s Major Rick Doyle said that the detective became impatient with the 18-year-old man in front him, when he left his car. Doyle said that the officer was wearing plain clothes and driving an unmarked car at the time of the incident. He had his badge visible on his belt.

Biumi was arrested in Forsyth County and was transported to the local detention center. Biumi’s bond was set at $22,000 and he has been scheduled to appear in court on May 23.
