Glow In The Dark Reefs

Glow In The Dark Reefs

In the warm waters of the South Pacific there was found a bioluminescent coral reef. Studies at the Solomen Islands show that special proteins in the fish and coral are the cause for the bioluminescents. Bioluminescence is a naturally occurring form of chemiluminescence where energy is released by a chemical reaction in the form of light emission. These glowing Proteins are being studied and are hoping to help Doctors view inside the body and interior of the brain for diseases.
